What We Are Looking For

This is an exempt key position in a growing and dynamic marketing department of Navien. The ideal candidate has Both B2C and B2B marketing experience and is familiar with Navien and/or the plumbing & heating industry. They must have superior organizational skills and have previous experience organizing and hosting corporate events as well as managing trade shows of all sizes. They must be flexible and able to work well in a team environment. Essential attributes include excellent communication, both written and verbal, strong interpersonal skills and an ability to multitask, while managing a large number of events at the same time. Remain focused in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment. This person dives into the details while always keeping the big picture in mind. In addition, the individual must be resourceful, self-motivated, have a positive attitude, be willing to be a leader, capable of regularly exercising a significant amount of discretion and decision making. Also, crucial to the position, is the ability to develop and maintain positive customer relationships. Up to 30% travel is expected, both domestic and international.

Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Execution:

  • Help develop and implement marketing event strategies, including trade shows, to support overall marketing goals
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth event operations
  • Manage all show services needed for each event, from electrical to booking hotel stays for team member.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of event marketing materials, including signage, advertising, and promotional material.


Trade Show Management:

  • Assist in managing all aspects of trade show participation, including booth design, staffing, and promotional activities.
  • Research and identify relevant trade shows and events for our industry
  • Build ways to track and report on trade show ROI


Asset Management:

  • Manage and maintain event-related assets, such as marketing materials, display equipment, and promotional items
  • Ensure assets are organized, stored properly, and available for use
  • Maintain and understand how to use asset management systems and ordering processes


Budget Management:

  • Manage event budgets, ensuring costs are tracked and within allocated limits
  • Track expenses and reconcile invoices
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations


Communication and Collaboration:

  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align event goals with overall business objectives.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on event progress and performance.


Post-Event Analysis:

  • Analyze event results and identify areas for improvement
  • Help develop and implement strategies to optimize future events


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 5 years similar experience
  • Minimum 2 years working within trade show events, not just attending, building, and breaking down booths (A-to-Z)
  • Experience in budget management and multiple event timelines.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in event and project management tools.
  • Experience in managing assets and inventory.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven marketing and communications experience.
  • Experience organizing and implementing marketing trade shows and or other events/programs.

Pay Scale: $75,000- $80,000 annually DOE + eligible for an annual bonus
