Summary

Employer: FormFactor, Inc. Position: Sr. Manufacturing Process Engineer (Job code 92583) Duties: * Develop, implement, ramp, and continuously improve various advanced electromechanical processes used to assemble and test probe cards. * Lead efforts in optimizing the test and assembly processes through statistical analysis of manufacturing operations data and hands on testing and look inside and outside of current process and practices and initiate potential projects based on new technology. * Interact with current and potential tooling vendors and look for beneficial opportunities to integrate new hardware to improve quality and/or reduce the cost of test processes. * Demonstrate aspects of engineering process ownership, ingenuity of test, test methodology road-mapping, and implement processes for increasingly complicated products. * Support failure analysis investigation and drive containment and long-term corrective actions. * Create test recipes on optical and electrical metrology systems for new and existing parts. * Generate and manage metrics for the manufacturing line including yield, cycle time, and other key performance indicators. * Monitor process health and provide production support. Interface with internal and external groups to drive quality improvements. * Perform statistical analysis and analytical reporting. * Interface with internal groups to create or modify manufacturing execution system and other production support applications. * Manage the sourcing and qualification of new equipment to improve safety, quality, and capacity. * Demonstrate capability in SPC tool monitoring. * Lead cross-functional activities to support new product introduction and product lifecycle advancement. Education Required: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field Special Requirements: Must have advanced level coursework or project background in each of the following: * Supporting failure analysis investigation and driving containment through modeling and validation. * Creating test recipes on optical and electrical metrology systems for new and existing parts. * Performing statistical analysis and analytical reporting. * Interfacing with internal groups to create and manage process improvement projects. * Using the following SPC tool monitoring: Design of Experiments (DOE) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Providing Design for Manufacturability (DFM) for new platform processes using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
