Position Overview

Kendra Scott is an exploding brand experiencing significant growth today and beyond. To keep pace with that growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Employee Relations to join our dynamic HR team. The Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and providing strategic guidance on employee relations matters. This individual will collaborate with retail and corporate management, HR business partners, and leadership across Kendra Scott to resolve issues and implement best practices that support employee engagement and organizational success. This role will be report into the CPO.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive employee relations strategies that support a positive work environment, improve employee satisfaction, and align with the company’s mission and values.
  • Provide expert guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on employee relations issues and potential risks.
  • Employee relation cases and investigation primary point of contact for retail, corporate and distribution center. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, performance management, and workplace conflicts.
  • Investigate and address complaints of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation in a timely and thorough manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Review performance improvement plans to ensure the correct steps are in place to mitigate risk.
  • Manage the employee relations case management system to review and track case progress; Analyze employee relations data to identify trends and recommend proactive measures to address potential issues before they escalate.
  • Prepare reports and present findings to senior leadership and HRBPs on key employee relations metrics and trends.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and communication of employee relations policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Design and deliver training programs for managers and employees on best practices for managing workplace conflict, promoting diversity and inclusion, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on employee relations matters to foster effective communication and fair treatment of employees.
  • Collaborate with outside legal counsel on employment-related matters.
  • Main point of contact for VISA related matters.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Minimum 7+ years of HR experience, particularly in Employee Relations or Managerial role.
  • Experience in labor relations and/or compliance is beneficial.
  • Experience managing employee relations in a retail environment, including supporting store-level operations and addressing store-specific challenges, is essential.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong understanding of workplace policies and the ability to ensure consistent application across teams.
  • Proven track record to engage in critical conversations while maintaining professionalism.
  • Experienced in conducting thorough investigations, documenting findings, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Proficient in leading detailed investigations, recording outcomes comprehensively, and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on providing direction and clarity to a large organization.
