Summary

Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Manager, Salesforce Platform to lead our Salesforce configuration, and standardization for the sales organization. This role will also partner with the tech team on development and implementation efforts to make Salesforce a "one stop shop" for the Mercury's sales organization. This role partners with sales leadership and technical product managers to set up objectives and strategies for Salesforce CRM and drives system improvements to optimize business processes. This is a hands-on position - prior experience with configuration and design is required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, business requirements, staffing admins, and the ability to partner with a team of Salesforce developers, contractors, and collaborate with other IT professionals. Geo-Salary Information State specific pay scales for this role are as follows: $125,011 to $231,539 (CA, NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, MA) $113,646 to $210,490 (NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, ME) $102,282 to $189,441 (UT, ID, MT, NM, SD, NE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, WV) The expected base salary for this position will vary depending on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills and location. Responsibilities Salesforce Strategy & Leadership: * Partner with technical product manager to develop and execute Salesforce strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring the platform is fully optimized for both current and future needs. Team Partnership: * Partner with tech team (internal and/or external) of Salesforce developers, administrators, and consultants, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring high productivity and quality standards. Team Management: * Manage a team of Salesforce administrators to implement day to day activities within Salesforce to enhance the user experience and react to needs of the end consumer. Salesforce Architecture: * Partner with the tech team to provide guidance on sales needs for the future architecture of Salesforce, helping to execute on the future vision of Salesforce for Mercury's sales organization. Customization & Configuration: * Oversee the configuration and partner with tech team on customization of Salesforce CRM to meet the company's requirements, including custom objects, workflows, reports, and dashboards. Stakeholder Collaboration: * Work closely with business units (sales, enablement, engagement and underwriting) to understand and document business requirements, partner with tech team to deliver solutions, and integrate Salesforce with other business systems as needed. Project Management: * Partner with tech team to manage the full project lifecycle of Salesforce implementations and upgrades, from planning and design through to execution, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. Process Development and Management: * Develop and manage business processes through stakeholder collaboration using standard process management tools. Salesforce Best Practices: * Partner with tech team to Implement and maintain best practices in Salesforce development, security, and deployment, ensuring the platform is continuously improved and kept up-to-date with new features and releases. Data Integrity & Reporting: * Partner with tech team to ensure data integrity within Salesforce by managing data migration, data quality processes, and reporting mechanisms to deliver accurate insights. User Training & Support: * Provide direction for ongoing support, training, and documentation to end-users to ensure optimal platform usage, problem-solving, and knowledge Qualifications Education Required: * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field Preferred: * MBA or advanced degree Required: * 7-10 years of experience working with Salesforce, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management role. Preferred: * Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer) * Additional Salesforce or technical certifications Skills & Abilities * Proven experience in leading Salesforce implementation projects, including integrations with other systems. • Strong understanding of Salesforce functionality, customizations, and capabilities (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.).
