We're looking for a hands-on, driven Senior HR Generalist to support and scale our fast-moving, results-focused operation. As part of a lean two-person HR team, this role wears many hats-owning everything from recruiting and onboarding to performance management, benefits, employee relations, and systems optimization. This position primarily supports the Operations teams but works cross functionally across the Company. Reporting directly to the VP of HR, you'll need to be comfortable with ambiguity, ready to problem-solve on the fly, and thrive on both administrative detail and strategic thinking. What You'll Do

HR Operations & Administration

  • Own day-to-day HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, recordkeeping, and policy implementation.
  • Manage company-wide leave programs (FMLA, ADA, parental) and benefits administration in partnership with vendors.
  • Keep job descriptions current and aligned with our evolving business.
  • Coordinate workers' comp claims and ensure compliance.

Talent Acquisition, Performance & Compensation

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment and help hiring managers bring on great talent-fast.
  • Works with Operations teams to evaluate staffing needs and maintains relationship with onsite staffing partner.
  • Support performance management and compensation planning with a focus on fairness and clarity.
  • Coach managers on leadership, development, and feedback best practices.

HR Systems & Process Improvement

  • Partner with Payroll and the VP of HR to drive HRIS (Paychex) enhancements and automations.
  • Identify manual pain points and lead process improvement projects that boost efficiency and reduce errors.

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Be a trusted partner to employees and leaders, helping navigate concerns and build a positive work culture.
  • Lead the Fun Committee and organize engagement events that bring us together.
  • Help design and deliver relevant, actionable training experiences.

Continuous Improvement & Compliance

  • Keep a pulse on what's working, what's broken, and what needs to evolve.
  • Stay proactive on compliance, best practices, and what's next in HR.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (PHR/SHRM-CP a plus)
  • 5+ years of broad HR experience with a mix of administrative ownership and strategic contribution in fast-moving, dynamic environments (manufacturing or distribution preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law, benefits, comp, and leave management
  • HRIS-savvy (Paychex preferred) and a whiz with Excel, Outlook, and other tools
  • Resourceful, collaborative, and comfortable managing up, across, and independently

What We Offer

  • The salary range is $75,000-$85,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range commensurate on the candidates' experience and skills. This salary range may also be modified in the future.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based role in a manufacturing-adjacent environment.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs may be required
