Summary

They are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Help Desk Engineer to join their IT team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support for desktop, laptop, and mobile devices.
  • Manage and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
  • Lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktop environments.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement and support new technologies.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of desktop systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for desktop configurations and procedures.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior IT staff.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in desktop support or a related role within a financial institution.
  • Strong expertise in Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft Office 365, and Active Directory.
  • Experience with desktop imaging, patch management, and software deployment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting network issues and understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, ITIL) are a plus.
