JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Independently analyze the system requirements and translate them to circuit specifications. * Come up with circuit architectures that can meet the requirements * Identify key ICs and simulate circuit performance * Design, implement and test the circuit boards MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Ph.D. with 2+ years of experience or MSc with 7+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering * Circuit design background with analog, RF, mixed-signal, and digital blocks * Comfortable using a range of lab instruments such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, etc. * Hands-on experience with debugging and fixing complex experimental setups and circuits * Good technical writing skills for documenting design specifications and test results PREFERRED QUALIFICATION * Experience with designing photonic interface circuits (e.g., TIAs) and low-noise laser drivers * Familiar with programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, C, etc. * Background in lidar or FMCW radar
