About The Role

Protecht is looking for a highly skilled Senior Front-End Developer with embedded e-commerce expertise. We aim to connect people with peace of mind by putting purchase protection in every shopping cart. Our solution supports millions of carts per month, and we're looking for a talented developer to join our high-profile team. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop cutting-edge web applications using SolidJS, React.js, Next.js, and Vue.js.
• Implement and optimize embedded e-commerce solutions to ensure seamless integration with clients' platforms.
• Focus on high-performance front-end development, ensuring scalability, responsiveness, and code optimization.
• Work closely with designers to transform design concepts into visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to high-quality coding standards.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in front-end development and embedded e-commerce.
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing and debugging of applications for functionality, reliability, and security.
• Gather requirements from product managers and stakeholders and provide technical guidance throughout the development process.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing high-performance web applications.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML/CSS and modern libraries and tools such as SolidJS, React + Redux, Next.js, Vue.js, NodeJS, Babel, and Vite.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Proficiency in web components (custom elements and shadow DOM), cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
• Experience with responsive design principles and optimizing applications for various devices, screen sizes, and browsers.
• Knowledge of modern front-end build tools, package managers, and version control systems.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using tools such as Vitest and Playwright.
• Familiarity with browser devtools for debugging, overriding, and profiling client-side code.
• Experience taking end-to-end ownership of your code, from requirements and analysis to testing and deployment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize application performance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Remote Position: Travel to Protecht hubs in Phoenix, San Francisco, Denver, Los Angeles, Austin, or Chicago may be required as necessary.
