Job Overview: We are looking for an inspired Senior Developer with a strong background in the development of cloud-native web applications leveraging technologies including Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, and AWS. This role is crucial for the development and enhancement of mission-critical applications that demand high availability, stability, and resilience. Activities will include creating and refining prototypes to test design concepts for target state capabilities, then using feedback to progress towards a scalable and robust platform. The role requires flexible thinking as the team integrates existing business and technology concepts with evolutionary design to deliver impactful results. Responsibilities: * Participate in activities which drive the design and development of high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance, using Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, and AWS. * Engage in hands-on coding and development, ensuring high-quality and efficient code, with a strong focus on UI components and user experience. * Collaborate closely with design teams to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. * Implement best practices to ensure application stability, resilience, and scalability. * Work with Product Owners and Product Managers to translate business problem statements into technical solutions, then help to plan Sprints that deliver quality demonstrations. * Assist in technical assessment of risks and issues, and document recommendations. * Once production build commences, coach the team in developing appropriate technical documentation in accordance with SDLC guidelines. * Communicate with technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis as part of product support. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/related field. * 6+ years of demonstrated software development. * 6+ years of AWS experience, including container and serverless technologies. * 6+ Strong experience with front-end technologies including Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, CSS, Semantic HTML, and Responsive Design. * Excellent knowledge of OOP concepts, data modeling design patterns/frameworks. Core Competencies: * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and coaching skills with demonstrated capacity to build consensus and empower developers to achieve independently. Preferences: * Hands-on experience with micro front-end architecture and Web Components. * Using search, index, and distributed caching tools such as Coherence and Apache Solr. * Familiarity with TeamCity/Octopus for CI/CD pipelines. * Knowledge in designing, refactoring, and unit testing. * Experience with Waterfall and Agile development processes. #LI-Hybrid Pay Range: $111,500-$185,800/year Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
