Lead the new open development formulas of Dermo-cosmetic and personal care products in CIC ;
Identify trendy texture and work on the pre-development of formula for push opportunities.
Assistant on lab management and quality control of lab.
OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB :
Closely work together with R&D and operation team to develop new subcontracting products.
Identify the need gap for open development and propose solutions with feasibility and compliance.
Follow the trend of raw materials and technology from supplier, explore opportunity of new texture, formulate the prototypes and do preliminary testing.
Anticipates potential formulation challenges and proactively collaborate with multiple functional teams on troubleshooting and resolve problems.
Remain abreast and curiosity on industry trend and consumer need, be able to leverage in-depth knowledge of the scientific principles of formulation, ingredient chemistry and dermatology insight trend to deliver innovative products, explore innovative ideas to meet the un-met consumer needs.
Support on new product concept, insight and valorization.
Assist the daily management and quality assurance of the formulation laboratory. May assist with training technician or temporary staff in laboratory procedures.
任职条件:
FORMATION
Bachelor’s degree or above, in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering or Pharmacy related.
Experience
8+ years cosmetic product development experience, with experience on open development.
Extensive experience of formulation and problem solving.
Able to manage multiple projects, design experiments to resolve formulation problems.
Strategic thinking, strong communication, team working.
With knowledge of cosmetic regulation of China and other Asian markets.
