Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Failure Analysis Engineer with a strong curiosity for debugging failures and over 5 years of experience in semiconductor IC failure analysis. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of semiconductor processes, with experience in MEMS being a plus. This role requires hands-on experience in fault isolation, functional verification, root cause failure analysis, and the use of various analysis equipment. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position. Key Qualifications: * Over 5 years of experience in semiconductor IC failure analysis. * Solid understanding of semiconductor processes; experience with MEMS is a plus. * Hands-on experience in fault isolation, functional verification, and root cause failure analysis. * Proficient in micro-probing, SEM/EDX, silicon device deprocessing, FIB/mechanical cross-section. * Knowledgeable in 2D/3D x-ray, EMMI/Obirch, thermal imaging, and decapsulation techniques. * Familiar with semiconductor reliability tests and common failure mechanisms. * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Responsibilities: * Conduct hands-on fault isolation, electrical and physical failure analysis. * Determine failure mechanisms and identify root causes for RMAs and new products. * Collaborate with system engineering, customer engineering, and product development teams to enhance design, testing, and processes. * Summarize failure analysis findings and communicate updates to the executive team on a weekly basis. * Implement best practices and lessons learned across departments to improve failure analysis quality and efficiency. Qualifications & Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering; Master's degree preferred. The actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
