Summary

Position: Sr. Equipment Installation Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX

Role: Full-time on-site

Relocation: Offered in the US

We are looking for a Senior Equipment Installation Engineer with over 5 years of expertise in managing the installation and integration of manufacturing tools and equipment.


You will be skilled in defining installation requirements, coordinating cross-functional teams, developing comprehensive tool packages, and ensuring successful deployment into production. You will be adept at facilitating collaboration between Process Engineers, Equipment Engineers, and Facilities to establish preventive maintenance specifications and ensure spare parts readiness.


Responsibilities:


  • Managed the end-to-end tool installation process, ensuring alignment with operational and engineering requirements.
  • Defined and documented installation requirements, ensuring compliance with manufacturing and safety standards.
  • Coordinated hand-offs between Process Engineers and Equipment Engineers for seamless transition from installation to operational readiness.
  • Created comprehensive tool packages, including technical specifications, integration plans, and risk assessments.
  • Developed and implemented preventive maintenance (PM) specifications and spare parts lists to support long-term tool reliability.
  • Transitioned to Equipment toolset owner, driving continuous improvement initiatives and optimizing performance.
  • Facilitated meetings with cross-functional teams to finalize tool installation strategies and execution plans.
  • Provided schedule inputs to support integration into the master schedule, ensuring alignment with production timelines.
  • Collaborated with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical and logistical challenges during installations.
  • Tracked progress, mitigated risks, and ensured adherence to established schedules and budgets.
  • Assumed ownership of installed tools, monitoring tool health and reliability, and implementing corrective actions when needed.
  • Supported factory transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Contributed to process improvement initiatives to streamline equipment installation workflows.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related STEM field.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple installations simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation, including tool specifications and installation procedures.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional meetings.
  • 5+ years of experience in equipment installation, manufacturing engineering, or a related role.
  • Strong background in developing tool packages, preventive maintenance plans, and spare parts strategies.
  • Prior experience working with process and electrical engineers in a manufacturing environment.
