Protection Starts with People. Proofpoint. About the Role We are seeking a dynamic Program (Design) Manager to lead cross-functional teams in the delivery of innovative products and services. In this role, you will drive the full project lifecycle - from initiation and planning through execution and delivery - ensuring that programs are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic objectives. What You'll Do: * Lead the development and implementation of new or enhanced products and services across multiple departments. * Create and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, risk plans, and status reports. * Coordinate cross-functional activities to maintain project momentum and drive accountability. Serve as the central point of communication between teams, leadership, and stakeholders. * Identify and resolve potential issues early to maintain program health and alignment. * Ensure successful project delivery in a matrixed environment without direct product ownership. What You Bring: * 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional product or service initiatives. * Strong technical acumen; able to work effectively with engineering, product, and business teams. * Exceptional planning, organization, and stakeholder management skills. * Solid understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and resource management in complex environments. * Experience working within a matrixed organizational structure. * PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certification preferred. * Bonus Points: Experience with Agile, SAFe, or hybrid project management methodologies. * Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, or MS Project.
