Roles & Responsibilities

• Preparation of BOQ & Estimate of Project within Time Schedule and send to VP Engineering for approval
• Source quotations from contractors & create CSQ to analyse best offer
• Issue approved Work Order to contractors with specifications & scope of works without errors
• Verification of requisitions received from Site Engineer with estimated BOQ and send to Material Co-coordinator
• Preparation of Yearly Fund Flow & submission to Accounts department, quarterly & yearly , with revisions as per project progress with proper co ordination with PM & management.
• Preparation of monthly estimation reports of all sites upto 5th of every month
• Monitor / Coach / Motivate team to either achieve or over achieve their KRAs
• Review proposal specifications and drawings and attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
• Review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality or availability of materials
• Review and incorporate historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit and man hour figures
• Determine critical path schedule and sequence of work
• Prepare estimates by calculating complete take-off of scope of work; price work items
• Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including current (accurate) information on prices from suppliers
• Attends project site pre-bid meetings, site tours, and post-bid interviews as required
• Gather and monitor actual cost vs. estimated cost, maintaining project cost history

• 6-10 years of experience
• DCE / BE (Civil)
