Summary

Role Description

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for data engineering, machine learning workflows and microservices-based applications.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of data and AI pipelines.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and AI scientists to productionize machine learning models and data processing pipelines.
  • Optimize data lakes for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Implement and enforce DevOps best practices, including version control, code reviews, and automated testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve the efficiency and reliability of our data and AI infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with security and data governance policies.
  • Knowledge of cloud resource management and administration with focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM).

Skill Requirements

Primary Skills (Must have skills):

  • Experience in a DevOps / SRE role, with a focus on data engineering and/or AI/ML environments
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their data & AI services
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
  • Exposure to CI/CD principles and tools, e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools, e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python or Bash
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong verbal / written communication skills
  • Passion for automation and continuous improvement

Secondary Skills: (Good to Have)

  • Experience with data processing technologies like Spark, Kafka
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLflow
  • Certifications in Kubernetes technology, e.g., CKA, CKS, KCNA, KCSA etc.
  • Exposure to Databricks platform is a huge plus
  • Experience with healthcare domain

Qualifications And Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field
