Job Title: Senior Electrical Designer

Job Location: On-Site - Kansas City, MO

Salary: $120-140K base salary

Position Overview

The Sr. Electrical Designer is responsible for leading the design and development of electrical systems for various projects. This role focuses on creating efficient and innovative electrical designs while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design process from concept through to completion on various projects.
• Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to create detailed electrical drawings and schematics.
• Perform circuit design and analysis to ensure optimal performance of electrical systems.
• Develop and implement control systems for various applications, including PLC programming.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet project goals.
• Ensure compliance with NEC standards and other relevant regulations in all designs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with other engineering disciplines.
• Research and incorporate renewable energy solutions into design projects.
• Conduct lighting design and calculations to meet project requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical design.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software.
• Strong knowledge of power systems, circuit design, and control systems.
• Experience in project management and leading design teams.
• Familiarity with PLC programming and schematics.
• In-depth understanding of NEC compliance and regulations.
• Experience with renewable energy systems and lighting design is preferred.
