The Sr. Director, Project Management will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring various projects within the legal and compliance functions, which are often complex and involve regulatory requirements. This role involves working closely with legal and compliance professionals and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. A key aspect of this role is creating and presenting comprehensive reports to executive leadership.
Reporting to the VP of Compliance, this sole-contributor role works from our office in Midtown with the flexibility to work remotely two days per week.

What You’ll Do
- Plan and manage projects, including defining scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely completion.
- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders regularly.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Prepare detailed executive reports on project status, performance, and key metrics.
- Analyze data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
- Implement and maintain project management tools and methodologies.
What Experience You Need
- Experience creating and managing detailed project plans.
- Experience in developing and presenting reports to executive leadership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
- Experience working on projects that involve technology or data matters.
- Experience working within a legal department or legal operations is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
