Barry’s is the Best Workout in the WorldTM®. Founded in West Hollywood in 1998, it’s the original strength and cardio interval fitness experience that provides an immersive, high-intensity, one-hour workout that’s as effective as it is fun. Our fitness classes alternate between working out with weights and running on a treadmill. Each day focuses on a different muscle group in order to achieve real results and to prevent injuries. Our program is designed to tone muscle and maximize fat loss, while spiking the metabolism for up to 48 hours following the class.

About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Product Management & Technology professional to join our team. This role bridges the gap between business objectives and technical execution, driving the development of innovative digital products and solutions. As a key member of our leadership and development teams, you will be responsible for guiding product strategy, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and delivering customer-centric technology solutions that create real business value.

What You'll Do

Product Leadership:

  • Define and drive the long-term product vision and strategy across Barry’s multiple business lines (in-studio, Barry’s X, E-commerce)
  • Coordinate and manage execution of development teams (web, iOS, Android, etc.) by communicating Barry's product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization into a series of deliverables:
    • Lead product management collaboration with functional leads and technical product owners to deliver impactful solutions
    • Prioritize investments based on customer needs, data insights, and business value
    • Communicate with development teams and business to decide the technical approach to refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Brand teams to optimize digital channels, such as Barry's website, for acquisition, retention, and referral
  • Identify and drive initiatives to reduce technical debt and move to agile architectural design.
  • Build systematic monitoring to ensure data systems and flows maintain 99%+ uptime
  • Maintain documentation of proprietary IP on API connections and backend infrastructure
  • Support ongoing Marketing campaign initiatives that Deliver the Wow for our clients and drive incremental revenue with best-in-class user experience design
  • Own the product lifecycle from discovery through delivery, optimization, and sunset
Technology Alignment

  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with digital partners and vendors to align product roadmaps with scalable technical solutions
  • Understand high-level system architecture, APIs, data models, and tech stack capabilities/limitations across Mariana Tek and other key partners
  • Participate in technical planning and ensure alignment between product requirements and technical execution
  • Partner with marketing team to implement and support marketing technology platforms (i.e. SessionM, Klaviyo, etc.)
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies that drive innovation and efficiency (e.g. AI)
  • Translate Barry's product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria

Team & Organizational Leadership

  • Hire, coach, and mentor product manager(s)
  • Foster a high-performance, data-informed, customer-centric culture
  • Lead cross-functional planning sessions, quarterly business reviews, and WIG setting
  • Lead the development of materials that reflect the strategy and direction of the product and technology function for Board and C-suite stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, with 2+ years in leadership roles. Experience working in Agile/Lean environments and with modern development practices
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and APIs
  • Core Skills: Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
  • Industry Insight: Proven track record of delivering B2B or B2C digital products at scale; industries such as fintech, SaaS, e-commerce, or health & wellness/fitness a plus
  • Work Style: Highly organized, fast learner, reliable, independent, and collaborative

The Pay Range For This Role Is

150,000 - 150,000 USD per year(New York)
