Sr. Database Administrator
Job Duties: Utilizing independent judgment, install, configure, backup and clone moderately complex databases; gather user needs and requirements; coordinate development of logical and physical database structures; perform data replication; perform migration between platforms and database upgrades; perform SQL tuning and optimization; build multiple databases in QA, test, production and standby environments; implement resource manager; troubleshoot cluster related problems; configure and replicate complex data filter scenarios; install, configure, and maintain Oracle across multiple environments; design and implement of backup and recovery strategies and perform periodical backup, restoration and recovery; install and implement OEM and set up Grid Control; schedule jobs to monitor database and schedule backups; detect/diagnose production system performance problems; implement change control process; monitor and optimize database performance; perform database, system and application tuning; and accomplish above tasks utilizing the following tools: UNIX, Sun Solaris, Windows, Oracle, SQL Server, SQL*Developer, Oracle Goldengate Data Guard, Datapump, RMAN, AWR, ADDM, TOAD, RAC, SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting, TKPROF and related tools.

Minimum Qualification:
Education: Master degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering or in a related field of study;
Other Requirements: Must be willing to travel and relocate.
