We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and talented Sr. Data Center Engineer/Operator for a 3 month Contract to hire project that we are delivering for one of our clients in Lodi, CA. Our client is a national non-profit Healthcare leader who is leading the way in technology, medical innovation, research and sustainability. Job Responsibilities: * Data Center Facilities experience, specifically managing relationships with engineers for quarterly maintenance of power, cooling, and related data center infrastructure. * Installation of hardware based on standards within the data center, and following change management * Documentation of standards * Cable management * Hardware troubleshooting Minimum Required Skills: * 5+ years' experience in data center operations and/or data center facilities * Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience * 5+ years of data center engineering and operations. * Demonstrable process/project skills, with the ability to manage and implement technologies rapidly and effectively. * Strong ability to analyze, consolidate and communicate complex technical topics to all levels of staff (including but not limited to IT executives, business/technical managers, developers and system administrators) in verbal and written form. * Strong detail orientation, follow-through capabilities and escalation of key issues superior analytical and problem solving skills. * Technical writing skills including floor map designs, run books, SOP's, and project proposals Preferred skills: * Need transportation to travel between Bay Area and Northern California * Need to be able to rotate on call schedules * Project management experience in data center build and design a plus.
