Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Customer Service Representative to join our team in Bolingbrook, Illinois. This role offers a Contract to permanent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in customer service and administrative support. The ideal candidate will excel at managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing exceptional support to both customers and sales staff.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries by preparing quotes and pricing information.
  • Process and proofread orders to ensure accuracy before submission.
  • Monitor orders throughout the system, from entry to shipping, to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with warehouses, mills, and external vendors to verify stock availability.
  • Follow up with customers on quotes and address any additional needs.
  • Provide ongoing support to the sales team by sharing updates on quotes, orders, and potential issues.
  • Address customer complaints promptly and work to resolve them effectively.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including managing certifications for customer orders and filing documents.
  • Assist with accounts receivable tasks, such as gathering information for new accounts and coordinating with the Finance Manager.
  • Enter mill orders and ensure all necessary details are accurately recorded.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and ERP software to manage customer and order information.
  • Familiarity with data processing and Epic software is highly preferred.
  • Strong skills in managing inbound calls and resolving customer issues.
  • Experience with administrative tasks such as billing, claims administration, and certification management.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
