Primary Purpose Of The Job

Provide technical and commercial support to the Ship Contracts & Bunkering division to develop, negotiate, execute, analyse, evaluate all LNG shipping and other marine related contracts to ensure QatarEnergy interest and obligation under those contracts are protected and performed as per contract.

Required Experience And Skills

Knowledge and/or Experience

• 8 years’ experience in shipping related filed with some understanding of shipping contracts, terminology and fundamentals of voyage analysis.
• Experience in vessel contract performance reviews and claims settlement.
  
  

Technical and Business Skills

• Prior use and knowledge of standard industry sources of information such as IMO, OCIMF, SIGTTO, AtoBviaC etc.
• Strong in spoken and written English.
• Strong analytical skills including economic analysis; and verbal-reasoning skills.
• Self-motivating and ability to work well under time pressures with little supervision.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marine discipline, Business, Economics, Commerce, Finance, Engineering or Marine Certificate (Master Mariner or Chief Engineer).
