Orbis is seeking a Full-Time Communications Specialist to support critical mission operations working in the Washington Metro Area region. The selected candidate will provide expertise in various communication technologies and infrastructures to ensure reliable and secure communication systems.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Conduct signals analysis in COMINT, ELINT, FISINT, and/or PROFORMA.
• Apply expertise in engineering, aerospace, communications, electronics, or industrial systems.
• Analyze and interpret signal intelligence data to support mission objectives.
• Collaborate with teams to develop and refine analytic methodologies.
• Provide technical assessments and recommendations based on signal analysis findings.

Education And Experience

• Masters or PhD (Degree area: Engineer (EE, Physics, Math))
• 10+ years of experience
• Proven experience in communications technologies, including aircraft and/or maritime communication systems.
• Strong understanding of core network architecture and implementation.
• Expertise in fiber optics, radio frequency, satellite, and wireless telecommunications networks.
  
  

Required Skills/Abilities

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• Ability to work independently and in team environments to troubleshoot and resolve communication issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings.
• Ability to attend planned meetings within the Washington Metro Area region.
