The Client Onboarding Advisor serves as the single point of contact for onboarding commercial, capital markets, and emerging middle market clients. They advocate for clients, ensuring timely and successful implementation and maintenance of products and services. Navigating the bank, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a seamless client onboarding experience. Will need to build strong working relationships with clients, Treasury Sales Partners, Relationship Managers including other team members.
Responsibilities:
* Support end-to-end implementation and maintenance of products and services.
* Deliver solutions to clients within desired timeframes.
* Provide input to product rollouts and participate in sales calls.
* Act as a trusted advisor, influencing and negotiating to achieve business objectives.
* Assist in strategic planning and identify emerging issues and trends.
* Work with complex and custom implementations, developing solutions based on business strategy.
* Build effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
* Lead or participate in defining client and internal stakeholder communications in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze special client needs.
* Perform end-to-end implementation and setups for client onboarding.
* Facilitate internal/external kickoff meetings and ensure timely updates.
* Document solutions and manage legal and setup documentation processes.
* Ensure clients are trained and prepared to utilize solutions.
* Provide ongoing post-onboarding support to newly onboarded relationship.
Qualifications:
* 4-6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 10+ years of exposure to the bank with comprehensive knowledge of treasury, payments, and commercial businesses.
* Strong communication, relationship building, and managing skills.
* Ability to learn moderate to complex treasury products and train clients during onboarding.
* Strong organizational skills, ability to leverage Office 365, and learn various bank systems.
* Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.
* In-depth verbal & written communication skills, collaboration & team skills, analytical & problem-solving skills, influence skills, and data-driven decision making.
Salary:
$56,000.00 - $104,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
