As Advanced Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of quality standards for our current products and processes as well as our new product introduction. You will be responsible for leading and implementing quality improvement initiatives, conducting root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement efforts within the current processes and throughout the NPI process from concept to launch. Your expertise in quality engineering methodologies and tools will be essential in identifying and resolving quality issues. You will report directly to our Quality Engineering Manager.

In this role, you will impact on the overall quality and reliability of our products, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and implement quality improvement initiatives

Evaluate and provide input to inspection processes via inspection aids and instruction guidelines.

Define and evaluate new processes as part of multifunctional team quality prospective

Conduct initial validations of products, processes, and equipment including FAI, PPAPs, TRuns and others as per customer requirement

Review and release new products and processes documentation as per requirements

Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for NPI process

Conduct inspections and tests to ensure product quality and reliability

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

Analyze data and identify trends to drive continuous improvement

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues

Active participation in ensuring compliance with electronic industry standards and regulations

Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency, and professionalism

Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements

Write reports and present progress as requested, internally and to customers

Data analysis

Calculate, monitor, and present Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) quality related, in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity.

Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability

Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering in Electronic Industry.

Strong knowledge of SMT processes, and post-SMT processes for electronic products.

Advanced English

Strong knowledge of quality engineering methodologies and tools

Experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

Experience in new product introduction quality related processes (APQP, PPAP, FAI, etc.)

Experience in contact with customers and suppliers

Demonstrate open, clear, concise, and professional communication (verbal and written)

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with managers, co-workers and customers.

Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard

Willingness to travel internationally and domestically

Advanced English language.
