Job Title: Sr. Accounts Receivable Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Accounts Receivable Analyst to manage and review accounts receivable aging and follow up on past due accounts. This role involves handling daily bank receipts posting and application, processing credit card payments, and resolving payment discrepancies and chargebacks in a timely manner. The analyst will provide timely review and identification of disputes, obtaining supporting documentation in coordination with other departments as required. Ensuring that invalid or unauthorized deductions are repaid is essential, and you will assist with month-end closing procedures and reconcile and close the A/R ledger each month.
Responsibilities
- Review accounts receivable aging and follow up on past due accounts.
- Handle daily bank receipts posting and application.
- Process credit card payments.
- Review and resolve payment discrepancies and chargebacks in a timely manner.
- Identify disputes and obtain supporting documentation in coordination with other departments.
- Ensure invalid or unauthorized deductions are repaid.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Reconcile and close the A/R ledger each month.
Essential Skills
- Integrity and dependability.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a collections analyst, accounts receivable manager, or accountant.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and 'IF' formulas.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Customer service orientation with excellent negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to engage in process improvement initiatives.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Fluency in French is a plus.
- Experience with RLM Apparel Software (Financials) is a plus.
- Retail/consumer goods or wholesale experience is a plus.
- Experience working with major retailers such as Macy's, Nordstrom, Amazon, Target, and HBC is preferred.
- 3+ years of technical accounts receivable experience.
- Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work environment with in-office requirements on Tuesday and Wednesday. The work environment is laid-back with no micromanagement, allowing for autonomy in getting your work done. The team comprises a director and four staff members, including this opening. The work schedule is 40 hours per week, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The office culture is relaxed yet professional, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
Match 401k.
80-90% coverage on health and medical
2 weeks PTO plus week between christmas and new years
