Senior Database Engineer -

To help build a unified, scalable data infrastructure that supports a variety of modern databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and build a cohesive data platform utilizing modern databases and technologies
• Automate database operations with Python, balancing cloud and on-prem infrastructure
• Integrate new database features and support innovation across platforms.
• Manage deployments using Docker and Kubernetes, following SRE best practices and DevOps principles.
• Use tools like Terraform for infrastructure as code and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
• Monitor and maintain systems proactively, with participation in on-call rotations.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and technical growth.

What We’re Looking For:

• Deep expertise in SQL Server or PostgreSQL, with openness to learning both.
• Strong Python skills for scripting and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Apache Iceberg, Trino, and S3.
• Familiarity with Airflow, dbt, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
