Job Description
As a SQL Server/JavaScript/SSRS Support Specialist you will provide support, advice, and practical assistance to clients, partners, and colleagues via the help desk ticketing portal, telephone system, and remote software tools. You are the first point of contact for all technical and operational inquiries, you diagnose problems and identify appropriate solutions, taking into account the applied service levels. The successful candidate will:
- Ensure a daily follow-up on open requests and provide accurate feedback to the client.
- Follow standard procedures for proper internal escalations on unresolved cases.
- Document recurring problems by means of notes and technical articles through the knowledge base.
- Ensure the proper functioning of the ASP platform and react proactively on anomalies detected by the automated monitoring system.
This position is based in North Richland Hills, Texas and reports directly to the Managing Members.
Profile
- Higher educated in IT or equivalent through experience
- Knowledge of Automobile or Truck Dealerships and/or dealership management system software is a plus
- Knowledge of any CRM software is a plus
- Strong customer focus with a desire to deliver a high-quality service
- Self-motivated and highly professional with the ability to take ownership and responsibility
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
- Able to think critically and manage priorities
- Team player but able to work autonomously
- Polite with good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willing to perform on-call duties in a rotation mode
Technical Skills
- Experience and good knowledge of basic web skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft SQL: Selects, Joins, Stored Procedures, Views
- Good knowledge of networking principles: TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP
- Experience with Windows desktop/server environments: legacy & modern browsers (IE, Chrome, Edge), file management & transfer services (NTFS, Shares, FTP/FTPS), server components (IIS Web Server)
- Familiar with web service technologies: HTTP/HTTPS, SOAP/REST APIs, XML/JSON
