Role: SQL Server DBA

Location: Bangalore (Onsite)

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days

Experience: 5+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases across development, testing, and production environments.
• Design and implement database backup and recovery strategies.
• Configure and manage high availability solutions, including Always On Availability Groups.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
• Conduct performance tuning and query optimization using tools like SQL Profiler, Extended Events, and Execution Plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database access and performance issues.
• Perform regular system and database maintenance tasks including patching and upgrades.
• Document database architecture, configurations, processes, and procedures.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 and above preferred).
• Expertise in installation, configuration, and database migrations.
• Deep understanding of backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery planning.
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server Always On, clustering, and replication for high availability.
• Proven ability in performance tuning, indexing strategies, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Certifications (Optional but a Plus):

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: SQL Server Database Certification (MCSA/MCSE)
