What You’ll Do

• Develop high-quality code of Bravura's applications in financial (Investment Funds) domain
• Optimise SQL queries and database performance
• Provide technical guidance and support to .NET application developers on SQL queries and database-related matters.
• Review and analyse existing SQL code, identifying areas for improvement and recommending best practices.
• Develop new functionalities in .NET based application
• Analyse technical and functional issues reported by clients
• Provide technical and implementation support throughout full software development lifecycle
• Contribute to product technical architecture and design patterns evolution
• Contribute to development operational practices (including DevOps aspects of delivery and deployment pipelines)
• Writing and presenting technical specifications and design solutions.
• Provide practices and tooling for administration of databases in development/integration environment
  
  
  

Unleash your potential

To be successful in this role, your background and experience will include:

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries and optimizing database performance
• Proficient knowledge of SQL Server including database design concepts, T-SQL, Jobs, creating complex stored procedures
• Nice to have is knowledge of SQL Server internals as well as theoretical aspects of DB design.
• Good knowledge of .NET Framework/Core, C#
• Understanding of industry-standard software development life cycles (eg. Agile, Scrum, Scrum of Scrums)
• Awareness of software quality concepts (testing approach/categories/levels, automation, etc)

As SQL Developer, you will be an integral part of our development team, working closely with our .NET developers to create robust and efficient data solutions. You will guide the design and implementation of SQL components, optimise SQL queries for performance and provide guidance to other team members on best practice. Your collaborative approach and SQL experience will be critical to ensuring data integrity and the smooth running of Bravura’s flagship products in alignment with industry standards and state-of-the-art software engineering practices.
