Job Title: SQL / DML / Aptean ROSS ERP Developer Location: Remote Company: Band of Coders Job Description: Band of Coders is seeking a skilled developer to work with Aptean ROSS, an ERP system. This role requires previous experience with DML or instead strong expertise in SQL-based languages and Stored Procedures (PL/SQL or T-SQL), as well as experience with ERP systems and legacy programming languages. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain applications within the Aptean ROSS ERP ecosystem. Work with DML (Data Manipulation Language), the language used with Aptean ROSS, to manipulate and manage data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless ERP integration and enhancements. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Aptean ROSS ERP. Adapt to the unique language and structure of Aptean ROSS, leveraging existing programming knowledge. Qualifications: Strong experience with DML or instead with T-SQL / PL/SQL and Stored Procedures. Experience in older programming languages such as Pascal, COBOL, or similar. Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Aptean ROSS. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies. Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Preferred Skills: Exposure to VS Code and its plug-in for DML. Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry or similar regulated environments. Understanding of software development best practices and debugging techniques.
