Required Skills:

• SQL Partitioning:
• Design and manage partitioned tables to improve performance.
• Optimize query performance using partitioning strategies.
• Review and adjust partitioning schemes regularly.
• SQL Availability Groups:
• Set up and manage SQL Server Always On Availability Groups.
• Monitor and maintain availability groups for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure system reliability.
• SQL Job Agent:
• Develop, schedule, and manage SQL Server Agent jobs.
• Ensure jobs run successfully and troubleshoot failures.
• Optimize job schedules to use resources efficiently.
• Performance Troubleshooting:
• Identify and fix SQL performance issues.
• Use query tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis to improve performance.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and recommend improvements.
• Writing and Optimizing SQL Stored Procedures and Triggers:
• Write and optimize SQL stored procedures (SP) and triggers.
• Improve the efficiency of existing SPs and triggers.
• Understand SQL structure, including DDL and DML

Preferred Skills( nice to have ) :

• Windows AG Cluster Knowledge:
• Understand and manage Windows Availability Group (AG) clusters.
• Troubleshoot AG clusters for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Apache Kafka:
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming.
• Set up and manage Kafka clusters and troubleshoot Kafka-based applications.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL Server 2019 and 2022.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SQL Partitioning.
• Expertise in configuring and managing SQL Server Always On Availability Groups.
• Proficiency in creating and managing SQL Server Agent jobs.
• Excellent skills in SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Understand SQL structure, including Data Definition Language (DDL) and Data Manipulation Language (DML)
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
