As an SQL Database Engineer, you will join our highly skilled team, working with cutting-edge cloud and on-premises platforms to deliver tailored solutions to a diverse range of local and international clients. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and optimizing the performance of SQL Server environments with varying levels of complexity. Additionally, you will play a key role in assessing and migrating on-premises environments to modern cloud platforms, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption.

What you'll do:

• Implementing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for SQL Server.
• Managing SQL Server landscapes of varying sizes and complexities.
• Executing seamless SQL Server upgrades, migrations, and consolidations.
• Troubleshooting and resolving configuration issues in SQL Server environments.
• Maintaining clear and thorough documentation of SQL Server environments.
• Collaborating with both internal teams and application vendors to ensure environments meet best practices and standards.
• Providing Level 3 support, knowledge transfer, and environment handover to operations teams.

What we expect:

• Knowledge in SQL Server high-availability setups, including Failover Cluster Instances, and Always On Availability Groups.
• Knowledge of SQL Server backup and restore.
• Familiarity with deploying SQL Server patches and updates.
• A minimum of 1+ years working with SQL Server environments.
• Microsoft SQL Server certifications are a plus.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
