LHH is currently seeking a skilled SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic team, contributing to projects specializing in database management and optimization. The role involves leveraging SQL Server, T-SQL, and PowerShell.

Important: ***Fully remote role, EST hours, ON-CALL rotation, final interview is on-site in-person***

• High transactional environment, lots of infrastructure migrations
• On-call required, rotation every 3 weeks for 1 week on-call
• Final interview is in-person

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain SQL Server databases.
• Develop and optimize T-SQL scripts.
• Implement and manage database backup and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with development teams to support database-related tasks.
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
• Utilize AWS for database operations and migrations.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server.
• Proficiency in T-SQL and PowerShell scripting.
• Familiarity with AWS and source control tools (e.g., GitHub, CI/CD pipelines).
• Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL is preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
