We are looking for a skilled and proactive SQL Database Administrator to join our team. You’ll play a key role in managing, optimizing, and migrating database systems in both on-premise and cloud environments. This position requires hands-on experience with SQL Server, cloud databases, and CI/CD pipelines, as well as the flexibility to work rotating shifts to support 24/7 operations.

🚀 Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases, ensuring high performance and availability.
• Lead or assist in database migrations from on-premise environments to the cloud (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• Manage and support NoSQL and Cloud SQL/Azure SQL environments.
• Design and implement database solutions that support scalability and security best practices.
• Build and maintain automation through CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
• Monitor and resolve database issues using cloud-native tools and logging systems.
• Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in rotating shift schedules and on-call duties as required.

✅ Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator working with SQL Server.
• Proven experience in migrating databases to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with Cloud SQL, Azure SQL, or similar cloud-native DB solutions.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) is a plus.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Strong understanding of database performance tuning, security, and disaster recovery.
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including weekends or nights if needed.

• Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience in automation/scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
