We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Functional Tester to join our QA team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating the functional requirements of software applications through manual and automated testing, ensuring optimal performance and a bug-free user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation to create comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, and track defects in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Validate new features and bug fixes in various environments (e.g, dev, QA, staging, production).
• Prepare test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
  
  

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on functional testing.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with test case management tools (e.g, JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
• Basic knowledge of automation tools is a plus (e.g, Selenium, Postman for API testing).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB Certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Familiarity with database queries (SQL) and basic knowledge of APIs.
