Job Summary: Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Splunk Engineer to join our team on-site in Huntsville, Alabama. As a Splunk Engineer, you will be leading Splunk engineering efforts. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications will make you an integral part of delivering customer-focused engineering solutions. Responsibilities of the Splunk Engineer: * Lead Splunk engineering efforts to shape our systems. * Design, develop, and evolve systems with advanced technology solutions. * Translate real-world needs into technical specifications. * Broaden skillset into areas like Splunk and system engineering. * Create holistic cyber solutions by merging system engineering and Splunk. * Deliver customer-focused engineering solutions. Qualifications of the Splunk Engineer: * 8+ years of experience on IT programs * Bachelor's degree * Experience engaging with client stakeholders * Experience with SPL, XML, CSS, or HTML * Knowledge of enterprise logging, including application, OS, and security technology logging * Knowledge of Splunk dashboards * Knowledge of regular expressions and writing search queries * Knowledge of creating dashboards for application monitoring * All candidates must possess a Top Secret Level Security Clearance Compensation for the Splunk Engineer: * Salary Range: $120,000-$130,000 * Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick Leave as required by Law and Holidays
