The Speech Pathologist provides comprehensive differential diagnostic evaluations using formal and informal measures. Provides management/treatment programs for individuals with communicative disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Provides comprehensive differential diagnostic evaluations using formal and informal measures.
  • Provides management/treatment programs for individuals with communicative disorders.
  • Provides appropriate case management/therapeutic intervention.
  • Provides appropriate written documentation of services provided.
  • Assumes responsibility for ancillary/priority services within department and contributes to development of department by participating in special projects/programs.
  • Other duties as required.

Other Information

Technical Expertise

  • Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
  • Experience in healthcare is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.

Education And Experience

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology is required; Doctorate is preferred
  • Certification: State of Ohio Licensure in Speech/Language Pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology [CCC-SLP] from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association [ASHA] is required.
  • Years of relevant experience: 3 to 5 years is preferred.
  • Years of experience supervising: None.
