Summary

Job Summary

Provides evaluation, treatment and ongoing assessment of adolescent through late adulthood patients with neurological, cognitive, swallowing, voice or other speech language related disorders.

Minimum Qualifications

Educations Graduate of a Speech Language Pathology program.

Experience Minimum 1-2 years experience in speech language pathology with similar types of patients. Outpatient therapy setting preferred.

Knowledge and Skills Competent in the evaluation, treatment and ongoing assessment of speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive disorders.

License and Certifications Speech language pathologist license through the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Speech Language Pathology & Audiology Board. Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) from American Speech and Hearing Assoc. (ASHA) is preferred. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Adult and Pediatric.

Physical Requirements Able to perform the essential physical duties as noted on the job description.

PAY RANGE

$48.00 - $65.09

The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
