Speech and Language Pathologist 3-Day Per Week Temporary Speech and Language Pathologist Position ● Provides services at two elementary schools ● Contracted position. Job Qualifications: ● The candidate must hold a valid Indiana state teaching license- Content Area: Communication Disorders. ● Master's Degree in Speech and Language ● Certificate of Clinical Competence (preferred) Job Requirements: ● Conduct evaluations as part of the multidisciplinary evaluation team to determine eligibility as a student with a Speech and/or Language Impairment under Article 7. ● Fulfill all responsibilities as Teacher of Record for students eligible for services because of a Speech and/or Language Impairment. ● Provide speech and language services as outlined in the student's Individualized Education Program. ● Communicate effectively with parents. ● Administer research-based strategies to support student goal attainment. ● Collaborate with school staff. ● Develop visual supports for individual students to use within the classroom, and build the capacity of school staff to ensure consistent use of visual supports.
