Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in the Alamo, CA area. The successful candidate will provide speech and language therapy services to students across multiple campuses. This is a full/part-time position with a schedule of 3 days a week at an elementary school serving students with mild to severe intellectual disabilities and 2 days a week at a Spanish-speaking site (note: bilingual skills are not required for this position).
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to students with speech and language disorders.
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
If applying as an SLPA, work under the supervision of a licensed SLP (a supervising SLP will be hired if needed).
Qualifications
For SLP: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current California SLP license, and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
For SLPA: Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or equivalent, current California SLPA license, and relevant experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
