Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time role will primarily serve as a rover, addressing site needs across multiple locations within the Bonita, California area.
Qualifications
SLP Applicants:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Preferably bilingual (Spanish/English), but not mandatory.
SLPA Applicants:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
Bilingual in Spanish/English is mandatory.
Spanish fluency is a requirement.
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language services to students across various sites.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students' communication needs.
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language impairments.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress and services provided.
Requirements:
Appropriate state licensure and certification for SLP or SLPA.
Proven experience working in a school setting is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel between sites as needed.
