diversity by our commitment to cultivating an inclusive and affirming environment for all The Position The Speech Language Pathologist SLP is responsible for assessing diagnosing and treating students with speech language and communication disorders This role includes conducting comprehensive evaluations developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans IEPs and providing both direct therapy and consultative services The SLP will collaborate closely with teachers administrators district personnel outside consultants and families to support student progress ensure appropriate interventions and promote an inclusive educational environment In addition to clinical responsibilities the SLP will provide case management supervise Speech Language Pathologist Assistants SLPAs participate in school meetings and plan coordinate and deliver staff training The SLP is also expected to engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices in the field This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Education and is primarily based in San Dimas CA with travel to additional school sites as needed Compensation and Benefits The pay range were language speech and hearing deficitsEstablishes individual education plans for students and reviews IEPs at least annuallyCollaborate and participate in Individual Education Plan IEP meetings Student Study Team meetings andconferences as appropriateEmploys assessment procedures techniques and standard tests necessary for thorough and accurate diagnosis and conveys pertinent information to appropriate personnelProvides a full continuum of speech language therapy services to students who are in need of such services including articulation and language therapyProvides consultation services to parents and teachers on appropriate speech and language activities including training parents and teachers to use appropriate speech language activitiesRequired to travel to various school
