Summary

Job Summary: Healing Haven is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist in Madison Heights.

We are a state-of-the-art behavioral clinic for children with autism and their families. Our one-of-a-kind campus in Madison Heights includes four different clinics each designed to serve the specific needs of children and young adults through every stage of life. We believe in treating the family as a whole, and as such siblings and parents are often incorporated into our therapy. Our unique services include a 3-month parent training clinic, speech therapy, occupational therapy, autism diagnostic testing and assessment, after school center-based services and day-time center-based services. Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver 30-minute therapy sessions, conduct initial assessments and re-evaluations per company standards.
  • Complete daily treatment documentation and bi-monthly progress summaries, submitted by the 1st of the due month.
  • Collaborate with parents, BCBAs and other professionals to promote a multidisciplinary approach and align treatment goals.
  • Participate in required professional development and company training.
  • Maintain cleanliness of therapy materials and follow all supply maintenance protocols.
  • Maintain a billable caseload commensurate with the needs of the company.
  • Cover sessions for absent colleagues and support smooth client transitions between therapists.
  • Submit accurate timesheets aligned with Central Reach calendar by required company deadline.
  • Prepare required reports (initial, re-evaluation, authorization, AAC) as requested.
  • Provide supervision for students, clinical fellows, and new hires as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and protect client confidentiality at all times.
  • Other tasks that are directly related to Healing Haven’s therapy services such as activities related to oversight of Company programs and employees.


Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to bend, squat, push/pull, and lift 30 pounds as needed to assist with therapy services


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
