Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. We are a pediatric private practice seeking short-term or part-time speech therapists with the potential to grow their caseload. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work directly with children in a one-on-one, in-home setting to support their speech, language, and feeding development. In this role, you will work to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing communication skills and improving the quality of life for your patients through tailored therapy plans.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and specific needs.
Provide direct speech therapy services to patients in various settings, including schools and clinical environments.
Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Educate patients and their families about speech and language disorders and effective strategies for improvement.
Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech therapy and related fields.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and developmental milestones related to speech and language.
Experience with pediatrics, AAC, feeding, or early intervention
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
Proficiency in patient assessment techniques to identify communication challenges effectively.
