Summary

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Deliver direct therapy utilizing evidence-based methods to manage issues related to speech, language, voice, fluency, and other associated disorders
  • Partner with educators, families, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive and collaborative therapy
  • Offer guidance and coaching to families
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress notes
  • Track progress, assess outcomes, and modify treatment plans as necessary to facilitate growth and development
  • Adhere to ASHA professional code of ethics 
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Timely communication with clients and the Mirror Me Team



REQUIREMENTS
  • Current license to practice Speech/Language Pathology by the State Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology for Texas
  • Current certification from ASHA
  • Required fingerprint and background check
  • One year of experience
  • CPR certification
  • Liability insurance
  • Car insurance must be up-to-date and provided upon hire
LOCATION

Mirror Me Therapy delivers services to children and families in their homes, daycares, preschools, and select community locations.

 

We are currently hiring a Speech Therapist to provide services in the South Houston Region.

  • Competitive rates using a fee-per-service model that takes into account planning and documentation time
  • Pay for all meetings
