Summary

Position Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Elwood Community School Corporation Reports To: Director of Special Education Position Overview: Elwood Community School Corporation is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality speech and language services to students across all grade levels. This position offers flexible scheduling options and the opportunity to work remotely on occasion to support a healthy work-life balance and meet the diverse needs of our students and staff. Key Responsibilities: * Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders. * Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams. * Provide direct and consultative services in individual and group settings. * Utilize data-driven strategies to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed. * Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student success. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines. * Participate in case conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings. * Maintain confidentiality and comply with ethical standards of practice. Qualifications: * Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. * Indiana State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. * Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred. * Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required. * Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently, flexibly, and as part of a collaborative team.
