REQUIRED: Pediatric Experience in an ACUTE environment What We're Looking For: At least 2 years of experience in an acute environment within the last 5 years caring for Pediatric patients. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (typically required in acute care settings) Ongoing continuing education in pediatric-specific areas such as: Pediatric dysphagia Developmental language disorders Neurogenic communication disorders Education : Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a CAA-accredited program Successful completion of the Praxis Exam in Speech-Language Pathology Completion of a Clinical Fellowship (CF) Awarded the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) by ASHA State licensure in the state of practice Skills: SME (Subject Matter Expert) in SLP Pediatrics.
