Summary

The Salem VA Medical Center is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the lives of our nation's Veterans by providing diagnostic assessments, rehabilitation programs, training, research, and consultation services. You will work with a diverse caseload, including patients with complex diagnoses such as stroke, ALS, head & neck cancers, and laryngectomy populations. Our facility is equipped with advanced clinical tools such as FEES, videostroboscopy, and augmentative & alternative communication devices. As a licensed independent practitioner, you will have autonomy in clinical decision-making. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with the possibility of negotiating weekend work if desired.
