Responsibilities
Assessment and Intervention:Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders and implement individualized therapy plans.
Collaboration:Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate speech and language goals into students' educational plans.
Case Load Management:Manage a moderate case load of diverse students with varying communication needs.
Documentation:Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
SLPA Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or related field.
Valid California SLPA license.
Plus if bilingual in Spanish, but not opposed.
